Industrial Cleaning Systems – Refurbishment

Riley Industries stocks and refurbishes a vast range of industrial cleaning systems, from the most basic immersion units for heavy industrial use to the most sophisticated multi-stage precision cleaning systems. Units can be restored using a variety of specialist techniques and services.

Fabrication is a vital factor when dealing with cleaning products. All tanks and enclosures are leak tested and repaired as required. In some instances the complete tank or cabinet is replaced using our specialist fabrication company Rodway and Taylor Ltd. For general spray systems we carry out pressure testing, maintenance and replacement of pumps, spray bars, nozzles and other key components.

Vital components, such as ultrasonic generators, piezo-electric transducers and heaters all have to be checked, repaired and replaced where necessary. We have access to a full range of sub-contractors and OEM parts suppliers to carry out this highly specialised work.

Many solvent cleaning machines include refrigeration units for the condensing of solvent vapours, in order to return them to liquid form. Repair and replacement of refrigeration compressors, coils and other components is carried out either on-site or in our own workshops using our sub-contracting company John Lewis Refrigeration Ltd.

Conveyors and mechanical handling systems are a major issue in many multi-stage industrial cleaning systems. These are fully checked and tested before they leave our workshops. We repair and replace jigs and fixtures associated with the movement of products through the cleaning cycle.

Riley Industries also carries out more comprehensive levels of re-conditioning to many types of cleaning plant & equipment. This may include the re-calibration of electronic control units to set new solvent heating or cooling points on solvent cleaners and degreasers. It is also possible to add spray systems or ultrasonic systems to existing wash tanks in order to upgrade a cleaning machine and make it more appropriate for the application.

In the case of handling systems, this may involve the re-programming of robotic controls and software re-engineering to adjust and alter specific movement functions through the cleaning cycle.
